The Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts is a corporation and registered charity in the province of Saskatchewan and is housed in the lower level of Nutana Legion. This museum honours the men and women who participated in military conflicts and peace keeping roles throughout Canada's history.

Our museum provides an opportunity for the safe, secure and respectful display and storage of military artifacts. We have thousands of artifacts and all of these items have been donated by veterans, family members of veterans and others who are interested in preserving our military heritage.

We are a volunteer-driven organization and rely on donations for the maintenance and preservation of the articles that are in our charge. Our volunteers have a vast and unique knowledge of history and are able to answer most questions pertaining to our collection. When possible we will do the research that will give us the answers to the questions that are asked. There is an extensive library and resource centre that is available for research and study.

We do extension exhibits, both big and small, when possible. Our main focus revolves around the service and experiences of local heroes, two for whom brief profiles follow.

We welcome visitors and will schedule tours for individuals, schools and other organizations. The museum is open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoons and from 3 p.m to 5 p.m on Saturday afternoons. A nominal fee of $5 for adults and $2 for children is charged.

Our email address is: admin@smoma.ca and our website is www.smoma.ca. Please feel free to contact us or go to our website and take a tour of our facility.
